Here's some of my Cine Films filmed by me in 1974 in Kings Cross . Central London WC1 and at Parliament Hill Fields that may be of some interest others who like myself grew up in the area. It starts with a short view of a view from the Brunswick Centre near Russell Square tube station,Then some shots of The Northumberland Arms Pub which was according to my recollection of the news reports of the time bombed by the IRA about 3 years later,then Penton Rise,My brother and my dog Shep walking next to Glynde Reach flats the side of the garden at the back of the Holy Cross Church Bramber the flats and Judd Street, Shep is running loose with another golden coloured dog who in the days when dogs were allowed to walk the area on their own was a familiar face and a very friendly one, The Body Park next to Kingsway College, At about 02.34 you will see the yard at Midhope Buildings the datrk bit is the posh flats where Keats Typewriters used to have their workshops downstairs,At 02.57 Woman walking through Argyle Walk on way to Plum Pud steps and the friendly familiar face at the time of the Ginger and white Dog who i think lived in Midhope anyone around at the time would have seen him out and about and minding his own business and will possibly remember him he was lovely.03.08 my brother Mark and friends in Yard at Midhope very grey quality picture,03.13 quick flash of toy Zeroid Robot very popular toys of the time,03.15 My dear much missed mum walking past the Betting shop in Cromer Street very close to where Dr Raynor the GP had his surgery,Thats brother running by with his orange T shirt with Hulk transfer on it I gave him from a Marvel comic,03.26 onwards shots with Pannel Skip near to gardens back of Holy Cross Church/Clare Court etc in of myself colourfully dressed in my Tesco/Marks and spencers trousers and shirt with Mark and my dad, 03.44 Side of Kingsway College,03.56 Body Park next to Eastmans Dental Clinic,04.21 Parliament Hill fields kites flying mucking about rolling over on the grass walking with our dad etc,05.45 a few shots of Clare Court from the back of the building and Holy Cross church garden.
