Countless 12+ hour days in recording studios. Eventually this took a toll on my health. Weekly acupuncture and frequent massage and pain medications were all I could find to attempt to counter the back aches, head aches and mental stress. In 2013 a fellow musician showed me the concept of tuning your music a bit lower until the note "A" = 432 hz from 440 hz. I went into my studio and did a test listen swapping a song back and forth in each of the tunings. That moment was a huge "ah-ha". Instant release and relief from what had been nearly 30 years of discomfort! Since then I have performed exclusively tuned to 432 hz.
