My first major stop on this bikepacking adventure, New Orleans. what an unforgettable time I had here. I felt like this was a place I could have stayed for a very long time, if not forever. But it's hard to totally block out the siren call of the road. So after a week it was time to leave. No easy task. Next up is: Texas and the desert. I've never been to a desert. I'm both terrified and intrigued. I've never been one to seek out heat often preferring the cold. It's a new challenge and a new adventure. Currently I'm 52km away from the Louisiana - Texas border.
