Lago Buenos Aires (Tranquilo – Perito Moreno) 19 October 2017 After visiting the Marble Caves in the morning, we drove to Perito Moreno. Not to the Perito Moreno Glacier, Lake Perito Moreno or the Perito Moreno National Park, but to the village called Perito Moreno. The road along the Lago General Carrera (General Carrera Lake) in Chile was unpaved and a feast to drive. In the village Puerto Guadal we have eaten delicious empanadas. This Panaderia La Ruta has won the award for best empanada of Chile in 2016. I can tell you: in 2017 the empanadas were still very good! Between Chile Chico and Los Antiguos we have crossed the border. In Argentina the Genenral Carrera Lake is called Lago Buenos Aires (Lake Buenos Aires).
