Music For Fallen Trees 14 - Meditation

There are three sections on this. The first is based on some simple yet dense chords and and a light funky drum presence. A couple of synth patches on top and the whole effect is trance inducing, I think. The second part is a spacey blues that uses a chord progression reminiscent of Bridge of Sighs. This is the guitar improvisation part. The final section is a cool down. Peaceful Lydian sounds. Music For Fallen Trees could be used as ambient music, background music, furniture music, even study music, or could be listened to more actively. These are live performances made up of loops, clips and improvisation. These loops and clips that I construct are designed in a way that no two performances will ever be alike. Maybe, this could be thought of as hybrid electronica jam music. The idea for the name, Music For Fallen Trees, comes from a long ago experience when I found myself deep in a trance state in the giant redwoods near Big Sur.
