In this Knaus motorhome we have installed a Thatcham Approved Category S5 Vehicle Tracking System without immobilisation – the S VTS. All S5 systems require a tag to be carried when the vehicle is moved so that theft is easy to determine by the monitoring company. We have also fitted a motorhome alarm system with extra door sensors. This means the habitation door and the garage doors are also protected along side the cabin doors. Inti also shows how to disable the interior sensor which is ideal for sleeping inside of the motorhome. For this vehicle it is on and off of the ignition twice, before enabling the alarm system. Now interior movement will not set off the alarm but any door opening, including the garage doors, will trigger the alarm. The Knaus Vansation motorhome comes with a rear bed that separates cleverly into a twin. It has an enclosed bathroom suite and swivel front seats for a spacious feel inside the van.
