Testing the Einstar VEGA on cars and car parts

PREFACE: These tests are done under the BETA release software and there have been near daily updates. I only expect performance to get better. In this this video we dive into the brand new Shining 3D Einstar Vega to see how it does scanning a range of parts from a full car body in one go, to smaller parts that fit into the palm of your hand. My use case for 3D scanners is reverse engineering mechanical pieces to design automotive performance parts, so don't expect to find any details about scanning figurines and such. All scans were done without markers, and the only tracking aid being Aesub scan spray. Here are some links to the mesh files shown here. These have not been processed on a PC, and are directly off of the Einstar VEGA to the Shining 3D Cloud platform. These were not done with the intent to capture 100% coverage, but give examples of my use case of capturing enough 3D data to reverse engineer a part, without spending hours capturing and meshing the data.
