This video presents Surah Al-Buruj with English transliteration along with its powerful theme and subject matter. Surah Al-Buruj delivers a strong warning to those who commit persecution and tyranny against believers. At the same time, it gives comfort and strength to the faithful, reminding them that steadfastness in the face of oppression leads to eternal reward. The Surah recounts the story of Ashab al-Ukhdud (the People of the Ditch) — those who burned believers alive in pits of fire simply because they believed in Allah. Through this powerful event, both believers and disbelievers are taught important lessons: • Just as the People of the Ditch became deserving of Allah’s curse and punishment, the oppressors of every era also become worthy of severe consequences. • True believers remain firm in faith, even if they must sacrifice their lives. • Allah, the Owner of the heavens and the earth, is Ever-Watching and Fully Aware of all actions. The Surah warns that disbelievers will face punishment not only for disbelief but also for their cruelty and oppression. Meanwhile, those who believe and perform righteous deeds will be granted Paradise — and that is the supreme success. It further reminds us of the fate of powerful nations like Pharaoh and Thamud, showing that no army, strength, or authority can escape Allah’s grasp. Finally, it emphasizes that the Qur’an is Glorious and preserved — written in the Preserved Tablet, beyond alteration or destruction.
