Hi and welcome to Episode 4 - Sailing from Yarmouth Harbour to Poole Harbour where you can join us for a beautiful sail out of the Solent and sailing west through Christchurch Bay, Poole Bay and into Poole Harbour where we berthed for the night in Poole Quay Boat Haven. This video makes up part of the first series in which you will see us take our first ever sail boat from Gosport Marina in Hampshire to Plymouth on the Devon/Cornwall border. If you have haven't seen our introduction video, Scamper is our 45 year old Colvic Salty Dog 27 that we purchased in December 2024 in Gosport UK. When we purchased Scamper we had almost no sailing experience and decided to bring her home to Plymouth in April 2025. I taught myself how to plan the trip and it wasn't until July 2025 that I completed both my theory and practical RYA day skipper courses and Jacquie completed her competent crew. As you can see we didn't really do things in the correct order, oops! We brought Scamper back safely and with both Jacquie and I and Scamper in one piece which was a massive relief.
