A conversation with Iowa State gymnastics head coach Ashley Miles Greig

Ashley Miles Greig is in her second season as the head coach of the Iowa State gymnastics program. A four-time NCAA champion at Alabama, Miles Greig led the Cyclones to No. 29 in the rankings and a spot in the postseason regionals. Her road to becoming a head coach was far from ordinary. After ending her collegiate gymnastics career, Miles Greig entered the automobile finance industry, first at the dealer level for five years before joining JPMorgan Chase Bank's auto finance division in 2013. Despite her success in the business world, she stayed connected to the sport she so dearly loves by serving as choreographer to optional and elite level gymnasts, while also working as an analyst for the ESPN family of networks. Miles Greig shares more about the transition to becoming a head coach and what she learned along the way.
