Meet my Adaptogen Hummus – a creamy, garlicky hummus loaded with ashwagandha and holy basil (tulsi) to help your body handle stress and support hormones. I use this on everything, including my perimenopause & menopause bowls, but it’s amazing for men too. RECIPE – ADAPTOGEN HUMMUS • 2 cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed • ½ cup tahini • 1¼ cups extra-virgin olive oil • 2 tbsp cumin powder • 8 garlic cloves • 1–2 tbsp ashwagandha powder • 1–2 tbsp holy basil (tulsi) powder • ½–1 tsp sea salt, to taste (optional) DIRECTIONS 1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor. 2. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. 3. Taste and adjust salt or spices. 4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 6 months.
