Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at TecNiqs deck mount green and red led navigation boat light. Now, this green and red led navigation light will provide increased visibility for your boat. And of course the green light designate the vessels right or starboard side, and the red light designates the vessels left or port side. Now, this light does have a range of two nautical miles for increased safety while boating. And what I'm going to do here is I have this connected to 12 volt power. And I'm gonna give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like lit up, right now, I have my studio lights on. Let me turn them off to just show you how bright this is. And then I am gonna go ahead and project this on to the wall behind me and just, you can see the wide angle of the red and the wide angle of the green. And again, kinda gives you an idea of just how bright this is. I'm gonna turn my studio lights on. And again, even with my lights on this light is very bright. So I'm gonna go ahead and turn the power off here and let's continue to take a close look at this. Now, the premium LEDs on this light are gonna be energy efficient. They're gonna be long lasting. They're gonna resist vibration and they, this light is rated up to a 100 thousand hours of operation. Now, I don't have this cover attached completely so I can easily remove it here, so I can show you the inside. The LEDs are sealed in a waterproof housing and a clear lens unit covers each of the red and the green led. This does have an IP rating of 68. So what that means is this will withstand dust, dirt and sand, and will be resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters under water for 30 minutes. And if I haven't mentioned it already, this is rated up to a 100 thousand hours of operation. And this does have a military grade construction of the circuit board for increase durability. And the patented text seal potting process does ensure the water, does ensure waterproof protection. Now, this cover is stainless steel, specifically it is three 16 stainless steel. So what that means is it's going to be more resistant to pitting and corrosion, and this is a surface mount installation. So you will need, when you receive this light, if the cover is not removed, you will need to remove that cover. And that's going to allow you access to the holes to mount this. This does not include the installation hardware. So you would have to source that locally. And while we're here, let me give you the measurement of the distance between the mounting holes. So, I'm just gonna line this up here. We are looking at right about, we line that up just a little bit better. We're gonna be sitting right at an inch and three eights, an inch and three eights on those mounting holes. And then the cover can be a little bit difficult to remove when you get this light. So, my recommendation in removing this cover right when you're getting ready to install this light is to take like a straight slot screwdriver. And just in the back of the light here underneath, just begin to kind of gently pry the bottom of this light away from the cover and just be a little bit patient. And then once you get this undone, this will be able to pop off and then you can install this light, and once it's installed on your boat, then all you have to do is take this cover and just begin to attach it from the front and then push firmly down along the sides and the back. And this will be then closed as after you have mounted this on your boat. Now, this does come with an included gasket. So, this will go when you, when you're installing this light, obviously you will put this gasket down first in between the light and the boat. That's gonna make this light weathertight and also protect the finish of your boat. Now, this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and this is a hard wire insulation. You have two wires here, the black wire is going to be your ground and the white wire in the case of this light is going to be your power. Now, this does meet or exceed the A-B-Y-C, a dash 16 and U-S-C-G two and M regulations. And let me go ahead with the gasket on and give you some measurements. So the overall length we are gonna be sitting right at three and a quarter inches long, and then measuring at the widest point, we are gonna be sitting right at two and a half inches. And then the overall thickness, this is gonna be, as it's sitting on your boat, we are sitting right at about, right at
