Understanding the sequence of operations, basically the chronological order of events of how the equipment starts up, operates and shuts down is an important tool for the technician's toolbox. The Sequence of Operations can be found in the installation manual. The Furnace used in this demonstration is the Goodman or Amana *R9T96 R32 Ready, 2-Stage Non-Communicating Furnace. In this video we will walk through the sequence of operations and discuss possible failures at each step of the start-up sequence and electrical checks that may be necessary.
