Tripartite 2014 in Berlin/AIYCB

The four allied founded in 1947 a race between the soldiers situated in Berlin. during the cold war the USSR ended their engagement in the race, when the troops left Berlin after the reunion of Germany the sailing clubs opened for civilians also. The tradition of the race was continued since then. Nowerdays the race between the clubs (American International Yacht Club Berlin, Deutsch Britischer Yaacht Club Berlin and Club nautique francaise Tegel) still celebrete the race. In 2014 the AIYCB hosted the race on 14th and 15 May on the Wannsee. Strong winds on saturday and rain on sunday made the race a special event as usually. The result was like mostly in the last years: first place was taken by the british club, la grande nation on second and the host took place three on the podest. Nice people, good mood and lots of fun gave the frame for a wonderfull competition and a nice memoory. Sorry about the partly shaky pictures, the waver did their best to make filming complicated.
