I picked up a set of Trijicon Night Sights and needed to install them on a Glock 19 9MM. Removing the factory rear sight is easy if you don't mind ruining it: just punch it out with a hammer! But installing these new sights means you really want a sight pusher or sight installation tool to push the rear sight into the Glock slide dovetail. There are many Rear Sight Tools available (e.g. http://amzn.to/1EJMfu4) but I thought - hey - let's just DIY this project and make our own! I honestly wasn't sure if it would work. My main concern was any amount of "slop" would cause something to bind or twist... But a quick SolidWorks model, toolpaths in SprutCAM and then machining it on the Tormach PCNC 1100 proved that it... well.. you'll just have to watch and see!
