This was a late 60s - early 70s heavy-duty truck, most frequently used for commercial logistics but can used in any way that a typical heavy-duty truck can - as a dumbtruck, snow plow, farming tractor, for logging, industrial logistics, vehicle transport, etc. This was a highway truck, and was advertized as such, but it also had offroad uses because it's a typical heavy-duty hauler. In SnowRunner, this truck is found in the first map of Michigan, in perfect condition, and equipped with the best engine possible. The game gives you free upgrades in Michigan for its differential lock and Raised suspension; you can upgrade the tires to Offroad UOD II, and if you use my New Game+ settings, you can upgrade the AWD right away rather than having to scout the Kola Peninsula region to find it. Pretty much all of your highway commercial trucks have to be converted to heavy offroaders, mudders, and snowrunners; and this is no different. While this is Highway class truck in SnowRunner, the typical heavy-duty external addons are available, making this truck versatille and dynamic and usable for many contracts, tasks, and contests. It has the sideboard + trailer + loading crane combination. It features large tires for its class and average body balance, steering, and control. It does have high fuel consumption when compared to others in its class but still an excellent early-game truck, acting as my work horse. Dimensions: Length: 8.7m, Width: 2.5m, Weight: 12125 lbs (~6.1 tons) Body Balance: Average Configurations: 6x4, 6x6 (AWD) Differential Lock: Switchable in Low Gears Tires: 47” Off-Road UOD II (0.8, 3.0, 1.9) and Chained UAD III All Chains (1.2, 3.0, 1.3) tires available – the UOD II do significantly better in mud, and the UAD III are required for icy regions in addition to giving you more control on roads. Steering: Medium turning radius Control: Average Fuel Tank: 240L Fuel Consumption / Efficiency: Tops out at a level 20.2L / min (Offroad gearbox, AWD on, Diff Lock on, under heavy load, on offroad terrain). Consumption depends upon damage status, terrain, gearbox, and load (carried on rear tandem axle + hauled trailers); spikes go over the stable reading. Real-Life Engine: Detroit Diesel 8V-71N, V-8 (65 MM), 9.3L, 289hp @2100 RPM, 758 lb*ft Torque @1600 RPM, Max Gross Combination Weight of 76800 lbs (38.4 tons) Game Engine: Westline V6 2420, 150000 Torque, 7000 Mass Chapters: 0:00:00 Introduction, Background, History 0:04:05 Dimensions, Design, Body Balance 0:05:50 Drivetrain, Differential Lock, All-Wheel Drive (AWD) 0:09:53 Traction, Tires, Suspension 0:12:56 Steering, Turning Radius, Control 0:14:04 Fuel Tank, Add-Ons, Fuel Consumption & Efficiency 0:15:45 Engine, Torque, Horsepower 0:17:40 Functionality, Usability, Reliability 0:21:50 Verdict, Conclusion
