How to Make a Wizards Orrery

Support Will: http://www.stormthecastle.com/support... This is a tutorial on how to make a Wizard's Orrery. An Orrery is a mechanical device that shows the motion of celestial objects. The one we make shows the motion of the Sun, the Earth around the Sun, and the Moon around the Earth which is also called a tellurion. You turn the knob and everything spins. You don't need a lot of supplies to make this project. Just one sheet of foamboard, thirteen inches of ¼ inch wooden dowel, some glue and some paint. You can of course improvise a lot of these materials. You should have a sharp knife to do this project. An x-acto knife is preferable. This is so you can cut the gears very neatly.
