Matter and Form THREE - 3D Scanner Review and Comparision

Here's my opinion on the first review of Matter and Form THREE 3D scanner. PROS: One of the highest definition 3D scanners on the market. Best color texture mapping among other 3D scanners, no color shifting, and the exported model is ready to be used in photo realistic rendering without post processing. Color texture is very easy to repair/retouch. This's the one and only 3D scanner that knows the position of turn table axis. Everything under the object and outside of turn table are completely excluded. Handsfree operation require no skill for scanning. Superior alignment for each scan, any object that can be placed on the turn table will be easily scan without manually merging. Super fast and responsive wireless, no lagging at all. Truely an all-in-one 3D scanner, no computer required, all mesh, texture and merging are done within the scanner, and fast (Comparing with other scanner) Very high precision, 28 microns on my testing. Ideal for scanning miniature, arts, food, large quantity scanning size from 2 cm - 40 cm Model can be measured for dimension within the scanner. (2 digits) CONS: Single scan mode for larger object is not ideal, require a lot of work and alignment. OK to be used from time to time. Almost to be called a mobile scanner but require an AC outlet. Not so good with black and glossy surface detection. Dimensional accuracy has to be improved. Polygon larger than 1 million will take forever to process. 3D Scanned files from this review: https://skfb.ly/p9nux The scanner can be purchased here: https://www.matterandform.net/product... #3dscanning #review #matterandform #3dmodeling
