This is a timelapse featuring a few of the routes in Run8 Train Simulator Version 2. The journey begins in the desert town of Needles, California, a crew change spot for BNSF trains traveling to and from southern California. This journey features two main segments: Needles - Barstow Barstow - CP Colton (west) In total, the journey of roughly 260 miles takes about 4 1/2 hours at passenger speed, which equates to over 5+ hours for freight. This particular run features AI trains which spawn on a 4-6 minute interval on the opposite end of the route, which meet the film train every few minutes (in real time.) To not bore viewers, the journey itself has been sped up 8x the actual travel time. Here we ride a LAUPT-bound BNSF officer special following its crew change in Needles, all the way to the current end of the track, west of San Bernardino.
