In this review, I'm going to take a look at another beer from New Holland Brewing (‪@newhollandbrewing6862‬), and it's their Dragon's Milk Reserve: Coffee Chocolate, the 2023 release. This is an Imperial Stout that is aged in bourbon barrels for three months, and then aged on coffee and cocoa. The Dragon's Milk Reserve series is always hit or miss with me, but this one sounds like it's simplistic ... but in a good way. Let's see if it is! Commercial Description: This adventure begins with a slumber in select bourbon barrels, imparting notes of vanilla and oak to this brew. After aging for three months, this brew is finished on mountains freshly ground coffee and cocoa. The journey is then complete. Raise a glass to victory!
