A serious incident took place on Bir Talha Road in Bathinda, Punjab, where a dispute over the possession of a plot turned violent and led to firing between two groups. According to the information received, one part of the plot belonged to Jalandhar Singh while the other part was owned by Ranjit Kaur. There had been tension between both sides for a long time regarding the possession of a shared boundary wall. During the heated argument, the situation escalated quickly. It is reported that Jalandhar Singh called his associates Lal Singh and Harjit Singh to the spot, while Dilpreet Singh Narwana reached from the other side. During the dispute, Dilpreet Singh Narwana allegedly opened fire, which resulted in two people from Jalandhar Singh’s side getting injured. The injured were immediately taken to the Government Hospital in Bathinda, where they are currently undergoing treatment. After receiving the information, DSP Sandeep Bhatti reached the spot and reviewed the entire situation. The police have started a detailed investigation, and officials stated that strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty. The police are also verifying all facts related to the incident to ensure proper legal action.
