Welcome to the Pikos Implant Institute for continuing education in Implant Dentistry and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. The rapid evolution of high technology has necessitated that we continue to actively participate in the digital revolution in diagnostic, surgical and restorative/prosthetic disciplines. Our Continuum provides predictable scientifically-based implant reconstruction protocols through the seamless integration of science and art. At our institute we are committed to prepare you to meet the ongoing challenges that we clinicians face in daily practice. The multi-disciplinary skills taught throughout our continuum are key in becoming a Hybrid Implant Surgeon. To best address the constantly changing dynamics of the digital revolution, we are pleased to welcome you, our colleagues, to the new home of the Pikos Institute. This prototype surgical teaching facility will optimize your high technology educational experience in a relaxed and intimate learning environment. As an oral-maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Michael A. Pikos has been involved in implant dentistry since 1983. In 1995, he chose to limit his clinical work exclusively to regenerative and reconstructive oral implantology that now includes the use of 15,000 implants, and thousands of hard and soft tissue grafting procedures. As a result of this unique background, he has accumulated a large database of dental implant cases with long-term follow-up. Dr. Pikos shares this extensive experience and knowledge with you as the base that will increase your dental implant knowledge. Our limited attendance courses are designed to allow you to immediately and effectively incorporate practical procedures into your practice. The latest digital technology, along with hands-on training, is integrated into each continuum component.
