Injured woman caught on camera begging for help after kidnapping attempt

A woman is in recovery after jumping from a moving car to escape a kidnapping, police say. Home surveillance video in Southeast Portland captured the woman hiding in a driveway on Friday at 1:39 a.m. The woman can be heard banging on the front door of a home at Southeast 112th Avenue and Southeast Lincoln Street where Portland Police Bureau (PPB) says they were dispatched to for a report of a woman screaming and running from a man. "He's trying to abduct me!" the 47-year-old woman said, panicking, while on the phone with police. The video shows what appeared to be the suspect driving away.
