Preparing for digitization Hayes opened the conversation by talking about recent highlights. SAP HANAa system for processing Big Datahas been the focus for some time and still ishe saidand a lot of our customers are moving to HANA. “The Cloud is popularas welland we can give our customers the power to scramble their data so they can feel comfortable moving sensitive data to the Cloud” he said. SAP used to be an applications companyand now it’s an application company with a full platformintegrated all aroundaccording to Hayes. “We’re expanding on that” he said. “The Big Data vision is keyand there’s a whole analytics angle where we fit in.” Consolidating data Customers are consolidating regional interests into one global SAP instanceHayes said. If a company can bring their data togetherthey can move toward other aspects like analytics. Solving the challenges of data movement to allow consolidation is a part of the pieces that need to evolve over the next few yearshe added. The key for us at Attunity is helping customers blend Internet of Things data with SAP dataHayes states.
