Film producer, author, and human rights activist Jason Jones of ‪@TheJasonJonesShow‬ joins Matt Gaspers to discuss the plight of Christians in Gaza and around the globe. He is the founder and president of the Human-Rights Education and Relief Organization (H.E.R.O.), known for its two impactful programs: ‪@thevulnerablepeopleproject‬ and Movie to Movement. Since Hamas’ infamous attack on Israel nearly two years ago, Israel has waged a relentless war on Gaza, turning it into what President Donald Trump has rightly called “a demolition site.” Yet as Palestinian scholar and pastor Munther Isaac emphasizes in his book, Christ in the Rubble (2025), “it is crucial to understand that this war did not start on October 7, 2023.” In short, the Palestinian people have suffered decades of displacement, persecution, and destruction as a result of the founding of modern Israel in 1948. Since that time, Palestinian Christians — the descendants of the original followers of Christ — have essentially been caught in the crossfire between adherents of Islam and Zionism. Yet despite their profound suffering, they remain firm in faith and resolved to remain in their ancestral land, which has been forever consecrated by the Most Precious Blood of Christ.
