It was suggested to me that I make an appointment with leading UK Cosmetic Surgeon Dai Davies, I had heard of the name but I didn't see him on television before. I made an appointment, I went to the surgical consultation on my own, I didn't take anyone with me. It was lovely to meet Dai, he had a friendly face and he explained everything about facelift surgery to me carefully and patiently. I have to say I'd already decided before I walked into the consultation that I was going to go ahead with the facelift surgery and perhaps I didn't listen as much as I should have. My expectations were very high and any potential problems I thought I might have I dismissed. As Dai was explaining everything about facelift surgery all I could think about was the finished article. He took some photographs and then adjusted them on the computer so I could see exactly how the facelift surgery would look even before I'd had it done which I thought was great! During the consultation Dai explained there would be another consultation because I would have loads of questions about facelift surgery once I'd gone away and thought about it... I insisted I didn't want the second consultation and wanted to book the facelift surgery there and then, he was agreeable and I went next door and started the paper work for my facelift surgery appointment.
