Read all of my blogs https://gambonelaw.com/blog/ Criminal conspiracy is an often misunderstood charge which falls into the inchoate categories of crimes (others are attempt and solicitation) An inchoate offense is one that pertains to the steps taken toward the commission of a crime with the step, in and of itself, conspiracy for instance, being enough to constitute a crime. A person is guilty of criminal conspiracy if he or she acts with another person with the intent to commit a crime. To be guilty of conspiracy, the prosecution must prove that the person agreed with another to engage in conduct which constituted a crime or attempted to engage in conduct. Pennsylvania and New Jersey maintain conspiracy within their crimes codes.
