The video starts with close up aerial views of Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA) and then over to Luddenham for a flyover of the new metro station and viaduct. The video was filmed early morning in March 2025. Luddenham station will be situated 13.5 metres above ground and will be the only station located on a viaduct. Three viaduct structures make up the combined 3.5-kilometre section of the alignment that will take metro services over key locations like Blaxland Creek, Warragamba pipelines and Luddenham Road. Western Sydney International Airport (Nancy-Bird Walton) is a $5.3 billion (AUD) investment by the Australian Government and is expected to commence operations for passengers in late 2026. Unlike Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, Western Sydney International Airport is planned to have 24-hour and curfew-free operations.
