This Rear Mid-Engine, Rear wheel drive sports car was the last project of the founder and owner Alejandro de Tomaso put into the market. It was presented at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show. Loony Garage spotted this extraordinary car at the Classic Motor Show 2012 in Birmingham (NEC). This particular example is one of the earlier cars which is powered by a 4.0L BMW V8 engine (M60 B40) which puts out 286 PS (203 kW) and is combined with a 6 speed manual gear box. The Barchetta version features no roof or windscreen. Drivers and Passengers might wear a helmet. The Guara is a fascinating car which has a Kevlar / Fibreglass Body shell which is fitted to a backbone chassis.
