The New Jersey Youth Symphony and Wharton Arts are excited to announce the start of the NJYS Jazz Orchestra and the NJYS Jazz Big Band. Saxophonist and educator, Julius Tolentino will be directing this new ensemble. This big band will be comprised of some of the most talented high school jazz musicians in the NJ area. The NJYS Jazz Orchestra will be playing concerts throughout the year, as well as entering national competitions and festivals. The rehearsals will be on Sundays from 2:00pm-6:00pm in New Providence, NJ.
