Circular, scenic, gravel ride in LDNP through Wythop Woods & Whinlatter Forest for novice EMTB rider

An enjoyable, easy route for the novice off-road mountain biker. The video pays particular attention to the terrain to ensure potential riders can judge if it is suitable for their level of riding ability. This is a scenic, circular, EMBT ride in the English Lake District National Park starting from Bassenthwaite Lake and heading up along a bridleway/forest track into Wythop Woods and up onto Sale Fell with panoramic views down onto Bassenthwaite Lake. The route then heads on a bridleway across Ling Fell and on along country lanes to Low & High Lorton before entering Whinlatter Forest for a 6 mile ride on gravel tracks. This ride is 22.5 miles long & roughly 65% off-road. Almost all the road sections are on very quiet country lanes and as you would expect, the scenery throughout is spectacular. This is a lovely route for those riders who don't want anything technical; the routes that are readily available in books, magazines, youtube etc. I've put together this ride and several others as I've found a distinct lack of detailed information on rideable off-road routes for those of us with mountain e-bikes (hardtail or full suspension) who want to enjoy a non-technical, but fun, ride. The number of senior e-bike riders appears to be rapidly increasing and I'm hoping these routes will be useful to those visiting Cumbria and the Lake District and maybe even the local residents, like ourselves.
