Creamy White Chicken Curry | Mild Chicken Recipe With White Gravy | White Chicken Curry | Shahi White Chicken Gravy | Creamy Chicken Recipe | White Chicken Gravy | Mild Chicken Curry |Chicken Recipe Ingredients for the White Chicken Curry : Chicken, curry cut with bones- 500 gms Spice powders: Pepper powder-1 tsp Garam Masala powder-1/2 tsp Other Ingredients: Onions, fine chopped- 2 medium (120 gms) Ginger garlic paste- 1.5 tsp Salt- 1 tsp Green chillies slit -4 nos. Oil-4 tbsp Whisked curd/yogurt-100 ml Fresh cream- 4 tbsp Kasuri Methi, roasted and crushed- 1 tsp Preparation: Fine chop the onions and slit the green chillies. You can reduce the quantity of green chillies as per your taste. Also dry roast the Kasuri Methi on low heat for 30 secs and crush it with your hand once cooled. Whisk the curd/plain yogurt till smooth. Process: Heat oil in a pan and add the fine chopped onions. Fry on medium heat for 5-6 mins till light brown. Now add the chicken pieces and fry on high heat for 5-6 mins till the pieces are browned. Now add the ginger garlic paste, mix and fry on medium low heat for around 2-3 mins Next add the 1/2 tsp pepper powder, /2 tsp Garam Masala powder, 1 tsp salt and 4 green chillies. Mix and fry on medium heat for 2-3 mins till these coat the pieces and are browned. Now switch off heat and then add the fresh cream and whisked curd/yogurt. Mix well and then switch on heat. Cook on low heat for 2-3 mins till oil separates. Also add 150 ml water and cook covered on low heat for around 15 mins. Remove lid, give a mix and add 1/4-1/2 tsp pepper powder (as per taste) and crushed Kasuri Methi. Simmer on low heat for 2 mins till oil separates.
