Around 4 decades ago, on a peaceful morning in the meadows of the French countryside, disaster struck, a small electrical heater caught fire and one of the outer wings of this mesmerizing castle went up in flames. For the last inhabitant mister Roger, this was pure devastation. At the time of the fire, mister Roger was already 70 years and lived alone in the castle, he planned to live out the last years of his life in this beloved place but Mother Nature thought differently about it. The castle was severely damaged and there was not enough money left for him to attempt a restoration. Mister Roger moved to a nursing home where he lived out his life until he passed away in the year 2004 at the age of 94. The Castle was passed on to his children, but there is no money to restore the castle.
