The route I took passed the harbour was 1.20 mile round trip from the car and back The path is accessible to people walking, cycling and the larger mobility scooters like my own (A Kymco Maxer) for smaller mobility scooters and wheelchairs not so much. Silver Sands Beach and Café is on the other side of the hill/peninsula. There is a non-accessible path over the hill, but it can be reached by road from the main road further around Aberdour. There is a mostly accessible path from the golf course next to Black Sands, this goes to Dalgety Bay and beyond. There is a path from Silver Sands around the coast to Burntisland. The path is not very accessible, but I was able to access it on my large class 3 Mobility Scooter. There is also a nice waterfall along this path.
