But the journey turned out to be much harder than we expected. It was a cold and rainy day. We walked nearly 2 kilometers in the rain, our clothes soaked, our bodies freezing. When we finally reached the viewpoint, the view took our breath away. So beautiful, so peaceful—we felt it was worth all the struggle. But the adventure didn’t end there. On the way back, we accidentally took a shortcut and lost our way. The forest was wet and wild, and we were attacked by so many leeches—it was painful and scary. This day reminded us how difficult life can be sometimes, but also how strong we are when we face it together.
