Rosin Press: A look at my DIY bench vice rosin press

By request, This is my DIY Rosin press. Easy to make for little money. Made with a small bench vice, hair straightener & some auto body fiberglass that I had kicking around that I used to stick things together. But you could use many things to stick it together. If you make one of these it is VERY IMPORTANT : DO NOT ATTACH the heating plates directly to the metal vice. there is electricity gong through them. You MUST HAVE a barrier between the heat plates & the vice to prevent electrifying the vice & getting a shock when you touch it. I used 2 pieces of wood as a barrier & kept the original plastic case on the controller part so that NO PARTS of the hair straightener, wires, heat pads or controller are touching the metal bench vice directly. Because I used wooden barriers the ONLY danger with using my press is accidentally touching the hot plates. You MUST USE common sense & be safe when using anything that has electricity going through it. My press is safe to use, you can see me use it in my other video.
