Big Leaves: Allow plants to absorb more sunlight in low light conditions 2. Waxy Cuticle: Keeps leaf waterproof to avoid rot/mould etc 3. Pointed Leaves: Channels water down the plant to keep dry 4. Leaf Angling: Avoids leaves shading each other to maximise light absorption 5. Gaps in Leaves: Avoids heavy rain or wind damaging the leaf 6. Buttress Roots: Shallow roots to absorb nutrients in thin nutrient-rich soil 7. Liannas: Thick woody vines that grow up trees via tendrils (sucker roots) 8.
