In a recent video, I discussed whether or not the Canon EOS R is a good purchase for an entry level full frame mirrorless camera in 2021, and in this video, I clarify why I don't recommend it for sports photography. This is a lesson learned the hard way, as I shot the 5th Annual Pomona 5k and 10k event recently as a volunteer photographer. I don't recommend the Canon EOS R without the RF 70-200mm lens and the battery grip.
