The Umbrella Academy Season 4 is a Disaster

The Umbrella Academy was a fun show. The Umbrella Academy has been incredibly fun ride since its very first episode. Well, at least that was the case until the abomination that is season 4 came along. The final season of the Umbrella Academy fails to conclude the show in a satisfying way, its writing and story beats feeling forced and contrived. The major narrative is home to pot holes galore and the season is full of abandoned plot lines. It lacks any of the fun from previous seasons and in a number of occasions does a massive disservice to its characters. With that all said, I think the Umbrella Academy as a series was always much more about the journey than the destination and so, even with a terrible final season, its really season successes endure, being just as enjoyable as they've always been.
