As John testifies in 1 John 1:1-2, “We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands... the one who is eternal life!” Jesus was sent from God with a specific mission that He alone could complete – He was “Born For This”! The question is, born for what? Why did He come to us at all? John answers that in four separate passages in his first letter. Each week, we’ll look at a different passage and discover all over again the Good News of why Jesus came to us and what He has done for us. Let earth receive her King!
