This covers how to use two dual output microphones such as Endora to record in ORTF. Then in post, how to adjust the microphone patterns while listening. I presented a paper on the technique at the Fall 2023 AES convention in NY. I use Reaper to do this without any plugins. You can expand or collapse the stereo field in a subtle or not subtle way. It is a really cool technique that has little published info on to date. You can use any dual output microphone to do this but I am using Endora.
