This trip continues to break my mind. Day two of Bali Bites sees Zennon and Nick travel from Canggu to Ubud in preparation for the Ubud Food Festival. We stay at arguably the most prestigious resort in Ubud; Viceroy Bali. Where a night's stay begins at USD$850.00, few words are truly articulate how remarkable this opportunity was. Later that evening, we went to Room4Dessert, an incredibly special restaurant created by Will Goldfarb. Will is a world-renowned pastry chef celebrated for his innovative and artistic approach to desserts. Originally from the United States, Goldfarb gained international acclaim for his unique flavour combinations and creative presentations. He is best known for his work at Room4Dessert, his iconic dessert restaurant in Bali, Indonesia, where he crafts intricate tasting menus that blur the line between food and art. With numerous accolades, including being named the World's Best Pastry Chef by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Goldfarb continues to push the boundaries of what dessert can be. The accolades and awards aside, Will is just such a genuine human being advocating for a better future both for the food system as well as the incredible people behind the pass.
