Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg is a distinctive and divisive figure in British politics. Characterized by his impeccable manners and old-style dress, he is often described as the "Honourable Member for the 18th century". A member of the UK parliament representing North East Somerset, he represents conservative and traditional policies, which has gained him many admirers, and much criticism. But a defining part of his four decades in British politics has been his Catholic faith. He often talks about his faith when debating social and political issues, and talks openly about his belief in orthodox Catholicism. EWTN reporter Colm Flynn traveled to Westminster in London to meet Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg and find out more about how his Catholic faith developed, and how it affects his life and his work. ------------ EWTN News Nightly provides the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.
