Once a powerful seat of influence, Yogyakarta gave rise to the breathtaking temples of Borobudur and Prambanan in the 9th century. Our journey led us to these awe-inspiring landmarks, and the last night was spent at @amanjiwo, arguably Java's finest restaurant, known for its impressive architecture. Indulging in a delectable Javanese dinner, we also enjoyed the mesmerizing traditional Javanese play, 'Dewi Sri.'
