Silence can be defined in many ways, especially in seasons of uncertainty, expectation, waiting and simply trusting. In every season and stage of our lives, we will be tested according to our waiting lifestyles. We must endeavour to understand that waiting is doing us a big favour more than we expect. Waiting causes you to manage what you are asking for, and the responsibilities that follow it. In as much as we live in an instant gratified society, I want to encourage and remind you that waiting is for your utmost good. When Isaiah 40:31 states that they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, it is an invitation for you to allow God INTO your life and let Him strengthen you whilst you wait. When you rest, He works - let this be a rich reminder to you - you don’t need to help God - He does not need help.
