Through archival material and cultural context, this film examines the Southern influences that informed Kelly’s creativity, business mindset, and eventual place in fashion history as the first American admitted to the Chambre Syndicale. Created by Jacorey Moon, an Atlanta-based fashion editor and Editor-in-Chief of The Sitch, and Gregory Miller of Patrick Kelly Lovelist on Instagram, this documentary reframes Patrick Kelly’s legacy by focusing on the formative environments that preceded his Paris success.
