Top Fuel Motorcycle: School of Hard Knocks 💥 Veteran racer Micah Fenwick learned a brutal lesson at US 131 Motorsports Park when his drive chain let go at over 160 MPH — turning seven feet of 4130 chromoly tubing and fiberglass bodywork into shrapnel. The chain failure, caused by a transmission lock-up, could have cost Micah his right leg. Instead, it cost him a frame, bodywork, and a few sleepless nights. “I’ve had enough of these 2-speed sprag issues — never again,” said Fenwick, who’s now switching to direct drive for 2026. Despite the carnage, Micah and the White Mountain Top Fuel Motorcycle Team walked away determined to rebuild stronger. With help from John Alwine, the ATF crew, and his dedicated team, Micah is already back in the shop prepping for next season.
