It’s always about how their partner betrayed them, left them, or made them feel unworthy which is completely valid and painfully common. But one thing I rarely hear people talk about is the other side of that fear, the paralyzing guilt of believing you were the one who ruined everything. It’s the same coin flipped the other way, one side afraid to be hurt again, the other afraid to hurt someone again.
