This was a fun one to work on :) Was going for 0 downs, and honestly rewatching the footage I think it's very doable with this build, just fell prey to a couple of instances of tunnel vision and maybe one of not being aggressive enough - really it's a question of concentration when runs are approaching 2 hours long. Sniper is probably still my favourite class, with a great answer to basically everything the game can throw at you - as long as you can nail those headshots! Going True Solo actually makes certain things easier - most notably with no targets to switch aggro to when you cloak, enemies often stand still to make perfect targets. Considered recording some commentary for this one, but with runs lasting this long, I'll instead put my thoughts in the extensive description below. ____________ Build: I'm going with the Bolt Sniper - see the pinned comment for my reasons why - which dictates a lot of the class perks here - IRON GRIP is the obvious one, as is TARGETED SHOT - together with the core perk, that means the first shot from cloaked has +100% extra damage, enough to one-shot many Majoris. EFFICIENT READINESS combined with the weapon perk STRONG START means I get an extra 25% ontop of that - the extra movement speed also makes going in for Melta Bombs much easier. SQUAD RENEWAL is central to cloak economy, as is LINGERING CONCEALMENT - the way you should be using cloak most of the time is as a quick tap to deaggro for minimal charge use, then an immediate Majoris shot to prep a couple of headshots. It's important to note that you can only build cloak charge once the cloak has worn off - that's why we're using Lingering Concealment to prep a couple of Majoris kills, and then taking those killshots as soon as the cloak has worn off. With the Bolt Pistol at the ready for easy Minoris kills, even if you've burned a bunch of charge for a Melta plant or teammate revive, you can easily farm some headshot kills to get all that charge back quickly. With back-to-back cloaks, staying stationary for VANTAGE POINT is a little more practical, though not relevant for any Majoris breakpoints - it can come in handy for killing larger targets though. PATTERN OF EXCELLENCE is quietly goated - with a 30s cooldown, it has the lowest cooldown for any personal equipment charge perk in the game, giving you a steady supply of Melta Bombs or Kraks for easy Extremis kills. BLOCK BREAK combines with weapon perks for up to 75% of your unblocked damage - honestly though it's still rarely worth going for a blocked shot, so feel free to change this pick for whatever you'd like. For Prestige Perks, VERSATILE PRECISION is a must pick for ammo economy - just remember to ping some Minoris kills every 15s. EXACTING FOCUS gives you more oomph for those post-gunstrike snap shots, while MATERIEL UPGRADE lets you set up melta multi-kills easier - just beware of that extra radius for friendly fire too. EMPEROR'S GRACE can be a lifesaver in those situations, and also if you find yourself stuck in a Zoanthrope or Helbrute's imminent AOE. For the Bolt Sniper's perks, I'll just highlight FINISHER RELOAD - combined with EFFICIENT READINESS, that gives you 2 ways of proccing STRONG START's 25% damage buff, and also means you're cashing out on RELOADED RESTORATION often - important when a lot of actions like weapon swapping still break RR's hit count. RECOUPMENT is also pretty great, letting you get armour with having to go in for the execute. For my sidearm, I've gone with the Bolt Pistol - while most players have switched over to the Heavy Bolt Pistol for its higher DPS, I'm sticking with the Bolt Pistol for its large mag and high accuracy - I don't need extra damage per shot if I'm only using it on Minoris heads, instead I want something I can fire into a crowd and reliably get headshot kills for cloak charge and primary ammo. While I'm a big fan of the Block Knife these days, I stick with the Fencing variant for true Sniper builds - with how much I'm scoping in, I need the frame 1 parries that the Fencing knife offers, and with so much sniper ammo on offer, I'm using my gun for all my DPS anyway. Shadow Stab still comes in handy for breaking the block on melee Warriors, but that's the extent of my meleeing in this build. __________ 00:00 Intro 01:00 Wave 1 05:45 Wave 2 10:30 Wave 3 13:45 Wave 4 20:20 Wave 5 29:00 Wave 6 33:15 Wave 7 39:00 Wave 8 45:00 Wave 9 50:40 Wave 10 56:30 Wave 11 1:02:50 Wave 12 1:14:10 Wave 13 1:24:30 Wave 14 1:34:35 Wave 15 1:46:10 Mission Stats 1:46:35 Build
