Flora of Mallorca - Gorg del Blau, Serra de Tramuntana

I recently went to Gorg del Blau, a gorgeous water reservoir situated in the impressive Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca. It was a beautiful day. This habitat is fascinating as the conditions are quite harsh and the plants found there are pretty unique. The plants I came across during my botanical walk were: Euphorbia paralias Ampelodesmos mauritanicus Hypericum balearicum Drimia maritima Pastinaca lucida Quercus ilex This is just a glimpse of the Flora of Mallorca, there is so much to see on this beautiful island and each adorable plant has its historical, culinary and medicinal uses.
